On October 1, 2026, Mr. Khusrav Noziri, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait, was received by Dr. Amthal Hadi Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs of the State of Kuwait.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current level and substance of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Kuwait and discussed ways to further expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly social protection of the population, support for families and children, the social inclusion of persons with disabilities, and the enhancement of the role of women in society.

In this context, the two sides exchanged views on opportunities to benefit from each other’s successful experience, strengthen direct contacts between the relevant authorities of the two countries, and organise meetings and consultations among experts, taking into account the respective national priorities of both sides in these areas.

The Ambassador expressed appreciation for Kuwait’s valuable contribution to the implementation of important social projects in Tajikistan, noting that such support reflects Kuwait’s commitment to the principles of international solidarity and sustainable development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah expressed the readiness of the Kuwaiti side to continue mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajikistan in supporting the implementation of Tajikistan’s initiatives in the areas of social protection, as well as family and child welfare.
