On March 30, 2024, a solemn event was held at the cultural and entertainment complex “Navruz Palace” on the occasion of the International Navruz Holiday with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry and the diplomatic corps.

During the event, guests visited the halls of Oinabandi, Guliston, Zarandud, Arzhang and Didor of the Navruz Palace, and got acquainted with the exhibition of folk crafts and ancient customs of the Tajik people.

The exhibition featured samples of chakan, atlas and adras, instruments for singing and music, paintings, ancient artifacts, national costumes and the Navruz festive table.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin, congratulating the gathered on the occasion of Navruz holiday noted: “Tajikistan and other countries of the Navruz basin and even beyond have been celebrating for more than ten days with joy and merriment, reviving like nature, getting rid of fatigue and meeting the New Year of ancestors with new creative power, with hope for a good future, with the intention of peace, tranquility and good neighborliness”.

The event concluded with a concert program dedicated to the celebration of the International Navruz Holiday.

On March 16, 2024, in the city of Berlin, the diplomatic missions of the countries traditionally celebrating Navruz, in cooperation with the Union of Friends of the Ethnological Museum and the Organization of International Cultural Cooperation, celebrated the International Navruz Holiday.

Officials of the host country, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and citizens of the Navruz countries took part in the celebration.

On the occasion of this ancestral holiday, the Embassy of Tajikistan in Germany organised a national exhibition of images representing culture, history and national landmarks, which became the centre of attention of numerous guests.

On March 13, 2024 with the initiative of the “Society Magazin” in cooperation with diplomatic missions of the countries traditionally celebrating Navruz, including Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan the International Day of Navruz was celebrated in Vienna.

At the event, the participating countries decorated their national stalls, among which the stall of the Republic of Tajikistan was prepared with delicious Navruz food and sweets, haft sins and haft shins, as well as ancient folk handicrafts.

Representatives of the ministries and agencies of Austria, international organizations and the diplomatic corps in Vienna took part in the Navruz celebration.

On March 29, 2023, on the joint initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan to Germany and the Honorary Consulate of Tajikistan in the federal states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, International Navruz Holiday was celebrated.

The festive event was attended by heads of relevant government agencies, heads of the diplomatic corps in Hamburg, compatriots and representatives of countries celebrating Navruz.

 

 

 

Stressing the international status of the Navruz holiday, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomuddin Sattorov drew the attention of the guests to the event titled “Water and Navruz – two sources of human life” with the participation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at the Headquarters of the United Nations in New York, which was held on March 21 of this year within the framework of the United Nations Water Conference – 2023 and was followed by a festive concert program of Tajik artists.

Also, a musical group from Hamburg, together with Tajik artists, excited the audience with their charming songs and dances.

On March 25, 2023, to celebrate the International Navruz Holiday, on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, a cultural and entertainment program was held in London, where a large number of compatriots living in the United Kingdom took part.

 

 

 

 

Before the concert program in the spacious hall, according to the traditions of the Navruz holiday, the table “7 sins and 7 shins” was decorated.

Famous and talented performers of the Republic of Tajikistan – Davlat Nazri and Sitorai Karomatullo, who were invited by the Diplomatic mission to London specially for this event, pleased the guests of the event with their attractive and memorable songs.

On March 14, 2023, at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, at the initiative of the Permanent Delegations of Tajikistan, Afghanistan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, a solemn festive event took place on the occasion of celebration of the International Day of Navruz.

 

 

 

 

 

The gathering was attended by the heads of diplomatic missions, managing staff and representatives of UNESCO Secretariat, ministries and agencies, scientific and cultural circles of France, as well as Tajik diaspora.

The Permanent Delegation of Tajikistan to UNESCO arranged an exposition with national Tajik dishes, promotional materials and photographs of Tajikistan.

A cultural program by masters of arts was presented for the guests of the event.
