Turkish scientists have proven with scientific facts that Mustafa Shokay is not involved in the Nazi fascists in Germany. His goal was the unification and independence of the Turkic world
As part of the scientific and practical conference on the topic: “Mustafa Shokai and the Turkic World”, organized by the Turkish Center for Strategic Studies “Sahipkiran”, in addition to historical facts from the words of the present speakers, a book containing content about the difficult life and activities of Mustafa was presented to the local connoisseur of scientific works and journalism Shokai was presented with a book about the fate of the great fighter for the independence of Turkestan entitled “The Policy of the Soviet Union regarding the Turkic World.”
The author of a unique written work in its content describes in great detail the tragic events of that time, where he specifically dwells on the personality of Mustafa Shokai. The book was written by a Turkish scientist, professor at Mimar Sinan University Abduakap Kara and was simultaneously translated into Kazakh, Russian and French. According to the Turkish professor, it took about three years to create a book about the life of the Kazakh statesman. In his description, which was important for the whole world, he was based on archival data and specific historical facts, which is confirmed by the painstaking scientific work of the scientist.
According to the author of the book, Professor Abduakap Kara, the biography of the Kazakh social activist Mustafa Shokai serves as an example for the entire Turkic world and that is why the youth of the Turkic countries should know about it. In his opinion, at the present time the younger generation needs to be educated in the spirit of patriotism and national traditions. Taking this into account, the book about Mustafa Shokay is full of similar values from the real fate of a great personality.
“It is a great honor for us to describe in the book those moments from the life of Mustafa Shokay, where a purposeful and talented fighter for the independence of his country overcomes the difficulties that fate has in store for him. Until the end of his life, he tried to defend the independence of his country, the honor and dignity of the Kazakh people. Moreover, we all know that at the evening in memory of Mustafa Shokai and in the book itself it is said about a man with a difficult fate who was devoted to holy ideas. Mustafa Shokai until the end of his life fought for the unity and freedom of not only the Kazakh people, but also the entire Turkic world. The works of Mustafa Shokay, while he was away from his homeland, were often published in European publications. Thanks to his articles at that time, the whole world was familiar with the people of Turkestan, who longed for independence and freedom. The book talks about the most important and relevant articles published in French at that time. Namely 41 materials out of 120 available. The reader, having familiarized himself with the works of Mustafa Shokay in the book, will draw his own conclusions and assess his personality and the period of that time,” says the Turkish professor.
According to the ex-Minister of Culture of Turkey Namyk Kemal Zeybek, the translation of a book about Mustafa Shokay into several languages of the world suggests that the personality of the Kazakh social and political figure is of interest not only to the Turkic states, but also to Russia and European countries. It is in these states that they must understand that such people fought for their people. Thus, by describing individual details from the fate of statesman Mustafa Shokai, this is the basis of a scientific and journalistic work. And his educational ideas are always relevant and meet the requirements of all times.
“The book about Mustafa Shokai tells how important the Turks of the whole world were to him. At the same time, he is a great man for all Turks. Mustafa Shokay dedicated his life to this path with all his heart. He served for the unity of the Turks despite the threat to his own life. For this reason, his personality has special meaning for all of us. Of course, all sorts of rumors that he had connections with the fascists in Soviet times and founded the Turkestan Legion are slander. The fascist regime invited him to be the leader of this association, but he gave them a categorical refusal, after which he was killed,” the ex-minister noted.
