Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Laos

On November 2, 2026, a meeting was held in Vientiane, the capital of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, between Mr. Idibek Kalandar, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Mr. Maitong Thammavongsa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current issues related to the development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, as well as discussed prospects for expanding cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations.
