On 18 October 2026, in Baghdad, Republic of Iraq, the official delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, headed by Idibek Kalandar, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, participated in the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Idibek Kalandar gave a speech at the session, presented Tajikistan’s position on the key issues on the session’s agenda and called on OIC member states to cooperate in the joint implementation of Tajikistan’s international initiatives in the fields of water, the environment, and strengthening peace for future generations.
