On August 30, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Tajikistan Alireza Haqiqian.

During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues related to the current state of bilateral and multilateral relations, prospects for expanding relations between the countries and other topics of mutual interest.
